Asia & Euro Swing

Just because there are no more slams, doesn’t mean there isn’t a ton of tennis being played!

So most players have been grinding it out in China and Japan before they head to Europe for the indoor swing.

The Wilson tour team has had some great success in the last couple of weeks, Petra Kvitova reached a career high #4 on the WTA Tour this week, Monica Niculescu has had some of the biggest wins of her career to become the #1 Romanian player and Andrea Petkovic is now at a career high #9 on the WTA Tour.

Kei Nishikori has been on the brink of becoming Japan’s highest ranked ATP Tour player for the last couple of weeks and we are all on the edge of our seats…waiting… he has been one win away, multiple times in the past 3 weeks… we hope tomorrow is the day.. but he’ll have to get through Tsonga!!!🙂

It is super fun to see some of our favorite Wilson team members really finishing the year strong and reaching career milestones. The above mention youngin’s are not only great players but great people which makes it that much more fun to see them excel!!!🙂

Other than that, for the Wilson home team, we have been in Chicago, preparing for 2012 and enjoying the last few days of sunlight and warmth of Chicago, before winter hits. The last week has been amazing weather and it’s been really unreal….runs along the lake and patio dinners are a must!! Since there are quite a few October birthdays in the office (about 8 of us, including myself)… we had to have some bday fun away from the office. It’s always a blast to spend time with the crew just to have fun….We ate, we drank and we danced!! lol GOOD TIMES!  When I look back (that’s what old people like me do) at my time at Wilson, I definitely look back smiling, knowing the support I received from the beginning,  fortunate enough to have made some lifetime friends and have enjoyed learning from so many different and diverse people. Life ain’t so bad at 32!😉

Anyway, let’s root on Kei and the entire Wilson team this week!!

And very Happy Birthday to our Oct. babies: Kari, Kathleen, Terri, Cassandra, Dianne, Chris & Krista!

Until later,

Tracy
