Wilson Tour Team pull upsets at US Open

Wilson players  Kei Nishikori, Beatrice Capra, Paul Henri Mathieu, Andrea Petkovic and Mandy Minella pulled upsets to reach the third round of the US Open in New York.

After fighting his way through qualifying, Kei Nishikori used his Wilson Tour BLX tennis racket to prevailing over #11 seed Cilic in a five set thriller. Kei will look to air out some jumping backhands to try and take down Montanes and reach the 4th round of the US Open for the second time in his career.

Wilson Next Gen player, 18 year old Beatrice Capra swung her Wilson Blade 98 racket to defeat #18 seed Rezai to reach the 3rd round of Women’s Singles for the first time in her career. Playing in her first Tour level event, Capra will now take on Sharapova.

Swinging his Wilson Blade 98 tennis racket, Paul Henri-Mathieu defeated Lleyton Hewitt en route to reaching the third round and will now take on fellow Wilson player Roger Federer.

Andrea Petkovic used her Six.One Team tennis racket to rock a win over #17 seed Petrova and will now take on Peng.

Sporting all Wilson gear, qualifier Mandy Minella defeated #32 seed Pironkova en route to reaching the third round of the US Open for the 1st time in her career. Minella will now take on fellow Wilson player Venus Williams.
