Sabine Lisicki has signed a long-term agreement with Wilson Sporting Goods Co. To kick off the new partnership, Lisicki was at the ATP Tour tournament in Munich, Germany to sign autographs and meet tennis fans.
“Wilson has a great tennis tradition and I look forward to having my best results with my Blade tennis racket,” said Lisicki.
In 2009, Lisicki reached a career high #22 on the WTA Tour after defeating Venus Williams to win her 1st WTA Tour event in Charleston and then went on to reach the quarterfinals of Wimbledon later in the year.
“Sabine is one of the Germany’s top athletes,” said Christian Singer, Wilson Sporting Goods Racquets Business Director Europe. “Sabine’s personality and enjoyment for the game is a great asset to our brand. She has just started to realize her potential on court and we look forward to watching her continue to climb atop the WTA Tour ranks.”
20 year old Lisicki will use the Wilson Blade 98 tennis racket when she takes the court in a few weeks.
