Roger and Juan Martin motivate

Well, today was what we might call a “half-full” day…. Serena and Sorana had a tough day, but  it was a great day for Roger and Juan Martin. The guys won in straights sets and really played some phenomenal tennis. It is a shame that Fed and DelPo have to meet in the semis, but it is always fun to see Wilson players go the distance in a tournament. Should be an intriguing match to watch.

So after watching the guys play this morning,  I was inspired. Can I hit a serve like Roger? Hit a backhand down the line like Juan Martin? Uhhhh, not really, but we still want to play!!🙂 So a fellow Wilson’ r, Steffen, who works as part of our Indoor Racquet team, and I decided to hit the  courts.

Only one problem……it is cold!!! Is it possible to hit 40 degree weather in June???!!! Apparently, yes in Chicago it is.

So we hit downtown Chi-town at some great public courts that are super close to the Lake. What an awesome setting!

It is always to get on the courts, drill some, and grind it out. Nothing is better than playing the sport we all love!!!🙂

Here are some photos from tonight.

Until next time,

Tracy

  1. Steffen ??? Was geht ab? Sit-ups or Rolle-Rückwärts?

    • Natuerlich sind das richtige Sit-Ups. Man muss ja schliesslich auch nach einer Niederlage seinen Mann stehen und die Strafe absolvieren.
