Canadian Filip Peliwo has been on a tear in Australia, winning the Traralgon International Singles title and now finds himself one win away from claiming the 2012 Australian Open Boys Singles title. Filip says he is ‘finally’ playing some of his best tennis. Filip’s future is bright and we will watch him swing his Wilson Blade 98 when he takes on Luke Saville for the Australian Open title.
Canadian Eugenie ‘Genie’ Bouchard used her Wilson Blade 98 Pink to reach the semis of the Australian Open Girls Singles. Ranked #3 on the ITF Junior Circuit and #305 on the WTA Tour Singles rankings, Genie is on the fast track to success.
In only his 2nd Grand Slam junior event ever, 16 year old American Mackenzie “Mackie” MacDonald used with his Wilson Blade 98 to fight his way through the junior qualifying and all the way through to the Australian Open Boys Singles semifinals. Mackie is no doubt a player to watch.
Adam Pavlasek showed variety with his Wilson Blade 98 to reach the semis of the Boys Singles and the finals of the Boys Doubles.
His all court game is a joy to watch.
